Caroline and Kenny – Akiin Beach Tulum Wedding

Photographing this destination wedding in Tulum was such a joy. We began the day with portraits at Ahau Tulum, where the soft light, beach pathways, and natural textures created a beautiful setting for the couple’s first moments together. From there, the celebration moved to Akiin Beach Weddings, one of my favorite Riviera Maya venues for its warm, open beachfront and stunning ocean views.

Fresa Weddings designed and planned the entire day with a vibrant tropical boho vision, filled with meaningful color and personal details. The ceremony featured lush, bright florals by Vanessa Jaimes Floral Design, and the reception came to life with curated pieces from Kay and Tee Boutique Rentals that added texture and charm throughout the space.

This wedding is such a beautiful example of what makes Tulum weddings so magical: thoughtful design, incredible vendor teams, friends and family from all around the world and the natural beauty of the Riviera Maya.

I'm so happy I hired Krystle as our wedding photographer. We got to meet beforehand when she was in California and took our engagement photos and it was like having a friend take our photos. She was an absolute delight to work with and helped put my husband (who hates taking photos) at ease.
