I’m gearing up for a blog post about including your favorite fur-baby or otherwise known as pet in your wedding or engagement session. While getting that post together I wanted to feature this session with Kara and Michael and their two pugs Scarlett and Cassidy! The girls, of course enjoyed the afternoon out and all of the extra love and pets they received from not only their owners but me too! I tried to talk my Husband into a pug, so far it hasn’t worked out. But, I have hope!

The Griffith Observatory has the BEST sunsets and depending on the nights can be pretty crowded. Thankfully for us this spring day we came at the right time! Not only did we places for the perfect picture but saw the prettiest LA sunset too.

I'm so happy I hired Krystle as our wedding photographer. We got to meet beforehand when she was in California and took our engagement photos and it was like having a friend take our photos. She was an absolute delight to work with and helped put my husband (who hates taking photos) at ease. Our photos were beautiful and were even featured in Martha Stewart Weddings and Magnolia Rouge which was an lovely surprise. If in doubt, hire her! She is such a calming presence which helps on what can be a very stressful day. Wish we could do it all over again!
